The Industrial Birch Lamp was created by father/daughter duo. The wheel-thrown ceramic body of the lamp is glazed a glossy white and matte gray to mimic the look of a birch tree trunk. The ceramic body of the lamp is framed with a natural, hand-polished steel base and hand-made, raw steel lamp shade. The light includes UL listed electrical components with a G8 100 watt bulb. The lamp is powered with a long fabric cord that has a built-in on/off switch that plugs in to a standard U.S. outlet.

The lamp roughly measures 30 inches in height and 14 inches in width; It weighs 27 pounds.
